Do not be afraid to stop and prioritize rest and relaxation! You NEED it to be creative, happy, able to solve problems, connected, more efficient at work and parenting. Rest and relaxation looks different for all of us, but I like the idea of finding time for it daily. Even for 10 minutes. I found my Fitbit charger that was lost for the last 3 years. Although my hubby says it was in the drawer in the bathroom the whole time. My looking skills are not the point of this post though. What I’m appreciating about wearing it is, just the little reminder to keep moving. Big and small steps, they all add up on this little baby here. ... I don’t need to tell you how important movement is! We prioritize walking our big girl to and from school, with extra steps and time outside on both ends of those walks. It really makes a huge difference in the amount of movement we all get.
