So, once again I was fortunate to get reacquainted with Christina and her boys last year, and all I can say is what a difference a year makes. Her boys (including Daddy) were so well behaved, and there a few smiles and tickles along the way! Thank you Christina! And thanks to those who have reached out about Grad and School photos. I shall get start planning next month and be touch. If you are interested, it's not too late to let me know.

As mentioned before, I am offering school portrait photos. I am awaiting confirmation from my daughters' school (SMPS) to see if I have permission to use the grounds (mainly to use a backdrop of brick). The package details are below, and I am thinking the session will be 15 mins max. Once I receive confirmation from the school, I would plan to do a sign-up genius for parents to book a slot over a weekend. I can only offer to do school sibling photos, and not family photos with this package. Please feel free to 'SHARE' this post, as I'm unable to post on the SMPS Parents FB page. If your child doesn't go to SMPS, and you are interested, please do get in touch.

I had the delight of first meeting Melanie when she asked me to do a newborn shoot with her eldest. Now a couple of years down the line, last year I got to take photos of her youngest. "Cheese for chocolates" was born that day, and her Princes were amazing, as you can see from the smiles. Thanks Melanie & Joel!

I have received a few enquiries regarding graduation photos - and thank you so much for those. I'm attaching the package for these, and some photos I took last year of graduates. The session would be around 30 minutes and at the location of your grad's school. If you are interested, please do get in touch. As for school portraits, I am still awaiting confirmation from SMPS, and will let you know once I hear anything. If you are interested in school portraits, and your child goes to a different, school, once again, please get in touch.

I am so enjoying looking back at the fun I had last year with posting these memories. Michelle and her boys I got to know the year before last, and it was an absolute delight to take their photos again in 2020. The boys were amazing and the shoot was almost over before it truly began, as I got so many great photos of the boys at the beginning!!! Thanks Michelle!

Happy New Year to those who I haven't said it to already! It's that time of year when I work on my website. In order for me to do this, I would be extremely grateful if some of my clients/friends from last year could send me a message with a quick couple of lines of review of their shoot please. It would be very much appreciated.

So here is my promised last post of 2020. I will not even begin to put into words this very strange year. I don't think anyone can. At the beginning of this pandemic, Jennifer Fletcher-Riviere, Sarah Blackadder, Darren-Tatum Uchman and myself, undertook the Front Steps Project. I don't think none of us could believe how many smiles we brought to the community, and how many families the community's $10,720 donation fed. All I know, for me personally, is that I'm than...kful I was able to do something I love, for such a worthwhile cause. I couldn't have done what I did, without the ladies. Jenn organised the donations, Sarah was in the charge of the publicity, and Tatum organised me, as well as the bookings. I will never tire of thanking you ladies. I miss our texts. To those who donated, and continue to donate, thank you and Merry Christmas. See more

So my last shoot of the year, though set on a porch, was in fact a family shoot. It was cold, extremely cold, so we had to have a few breaks to warm up, but there were still plenty of smiles and Amanda's home was very festive indeed. I shall be doing an end of year post soon, but I can't thank those enough, who have supported, and allowed me to take their photos this year.

I can't possible begin to put into words how much it means that so many families put their faith in me to take their family photos this year. New clients have become friends, and friends have become family. With all that has happened this year, I am thankful for these last few months. I know not everyone's photo is below, but that doesn't mean this message is not for you also. I plan for bigger things next year, and I will need your help to bounce ideas off. There will be just one more message to follow before the Christmas break, but in the meantime, thank you again, and Merry Christmas. May all your dreams come true for 2021!

So last weekend I finished off the Christmas Front Porch Minis. So much fun. It's only fitting that my last one, was of newbie friends, who we got to know each other through ringette last year. For next season, I think we should have a do-over and the U12 girls be reunited (just saying!). A lovely family, and even though it was cold, they kept on smiling throughout.

No words except .....

I can't believe that I almost let these two families slip through the net. With Patricia, I accidentally disturbed her neighbour, who answered the door in shorts, and I thought, wow, he is brave for his shoot. And with Shawna, we had to patiently wait for the weather to cooperate. Needless to say, we got the photos in the end.

Before I shortly start editing the last Xmas minis, I thought I would share something different. These ladies reached out for headshots, and because of the restrictions of indoor photography, we had to work outside. These ladies were prepared to try anything and it was certainly fun for sure - well for me!!!
