Spring has sprung! The pussy willows are out! One of Lisa's favourite Spring activities is hiking to look for pussy willows. It also brings fond memories of this book from her childhood. Simple pleasures!

It's Samm's birthday!! Samantha Burton (fondly known as Samm ) was born on this date back in 1996- making her 25 years old today!! She joined our team last March- just when CoVid 19 hit us! Samm is always up for a hike, going sliding, doing experiments and the children love her! Please join us in wishing Samm a happy birthday on this long weekend! Samm Lyn

Spring is here and we are spending more and more time outside. There are so many things to explore now that the snow is going away. Our little ones love being able to travel a bit farther and see the neighboring horses. And they will stop in every puddle they can!

Chilly mornings call for hot chocolate! Our preschoolers had a lesson on the 'kelly kettle' from the Forest schoolers. We can't play together, but our bubble groups can see their friends by sitting (socially distanced ) across from each other in the outdoor group circle area. Our little ones have a beautiful display in their entryway! A wreath made with painted pine cones hangs in the corner. And the masterpiece on the wall was completely made with painted feet! . Well done, our future Picassos!

Yesterday was World Teacher Day and two local educators are putting Sussex, NB on the map receiving national recognition as winners of the Prestigious Prime Minister Award!
