This has been an extremely emotional day. I just wanted to say a great big thank you to everyone for their words of support and the amazing memories they have shared. It has been wonderful to read posts from people who dance decades ago. I am amazed as to how many friend groups that started at the studio, are still intact 10,15, 20 years later. This warms my heart. For my current students and families, I am thankful that we have time together for the next little while to c...ontinue to do what we love, and I will see you next week at the studio. Thank you to my colleagues for your well wishes, private messages and words of comfort. My entire adult life has revolved around the studio and the relationships built and nurtured there. I truly treasure the friendships I have made and maintained over the years. Just because the studio is closing, does not mean our friendships come to an end. I cannot wait for better non covid times when we can gather together and enjoy each others company again. I have had some amazing staff over the years who have helped mold the studio into what it is today. Thank you for believing in me and following my guidance as to how I wanted the studio to feel. I just wanted to let everyone know how proud of my daughters Loni and Tianna for their amazing ability to connect with their students of all ages to help foster the love of dance. Both of my girls are fabulous choreographers who have been recognized and rewarded many times over the years. The dance world is better place because of them. Just because Mamma is headed into retirement [ sort of .] does not mean you will not be able to take classes from these lovely ladies. Keep your eyes peeled for Loni and Tianna wherever they decide to spread the joy of teaching. Love you both so much. Thank you all, Miss Lisa xoxo

Hello my lovely adults. Covid is NASTY!!! I am so sorry to hear that we have to press pause for 3 weeks while things sort themselves out. I have come up with a plan, and fingers crossed it will play out!... Session #1, the current classes, will miss 2 weeks due to the restrictions. I am going to add those two classes on at the end of the season. The 2 missed classes will be made up June 2nd & 9th 2021. Session #2 that was to start on April 14th, will now start on April 21/21, 1 week later. The classes will run until May 26th. Please, let’s cross our fingers and toes so the restrictions get lifted in 3 weeks and we can resume this awesome class! To recap: Session #1- 2 weeks missed will be made up June 2nd & 9th 2021. Session #2- Start Date bumped 1 week. Classes run April 21-May 26th 2021 Thanks for hanging in there with me! Miss Lisa xoxo

All of our youth dance programs are still running Unfortunately our new low intensity Adult class has been paused for 3 weeks during this latest restriction. For those of you registered in those classes I will be in touch soon

Nov 24/20 Temporary COVID Closure Hello Everyone, As I am sure you are all aware, we have been ordered once again to close our doors. Currently, I do not know the duration. ... I really cannot give you any more information at this time because I have not received anything myself. This information was found by chance last evening. Jomama's Gems! You should see my Mom's house. It looks like Santa's workshop! Sewing machines, sergers, fabric, dolls, you name it she's got it on the go.... This is your opportunity to get your hands on some beautifully made, one of a kind outfits that fit all 18-in dolls. Think American Girl, My Life, Journey Girl etc. This clothing has been handcrafted by my Mom " Jomama" Take a look at the awesome selection of lovingly restored dolls in EUC that Jomama has put her heart and soul into. Dolls and clothing are sold separately. You can mix and match, if you see a particular doll that you like and a different outfit on a different doll we can make the switch! If it's just the clothing , or just the doll you want, no problem. Each article of clothing and doll are sold separately and independent of each other. So many additional absolutely adorable outfits will be available soon...they're still under construction in the workshop! Jomama has already had several very happy customers... Christmas morning is going to be fantastic for some lucky little people! I would love to help support my Mom in her venture, and will facilitate in helping you get your amazing stuff! Please take a look at the photos and message me ASAP if there's something you're interested in and I will put it aside for you. We will arrange payment through e-transfer and can also provide curbside pickup. 2020-COVID PROTOCOL REMINDER We are so excited to be back at the studio and can’t wait to see you again! Here is a friendly reminder of the protocol we already had in place before the last closure. Please be very diligent in respecting and honoring all of these requirements. We want to be able to remain open and doing what we love,teaching dance and spending our time with you!... MASK/FACESHIELD for ALL students and staff. Arrive at the studio completely ready to dance in the proper attire according to the dress code sent home. Please have your hair in a bun [ Adults are not required to have a bun] Line up OUTSIDE the studio socially distanced. A staff member will be out to greet you, take your temperature and welcome you in. Proceed to your studio and HAND SANITIZE before you enter. Staff will be there to ensure this is done. If the studio is not quite ready for you to go in please stand on the socially distant markers. Once in the studio, place your SMALL dance bag along the outside of the studio 6 feet away from anyone else's bag. All items including coats must go in the bag. Please bring only what is necessary. Water bottle and shoes. Change into shoes/modern socks/bare feet Head to your 6x6 dance square and wait for class to begin. Have FUN and be excited to be back!!!!! After class is over you will gather your dance bag and leave the studio immediately. Parents/rides are to be available right away as we cannot have people waiting in the building. Parents please wait OUTSIDE for your child. We will bring them out to you. If you have two classes back to back, you can wait in the studio for your next class to begin. Floors will be disinfected between class changeovers. Reminders: NO CELL PHONE USE. Cell phones must remain in the dance bag. Vending Machine available for water only. Lounge and Change Rooms are CLOSED. Increased cleaning/sanitation for bathrooms and common areas throughout the day/evening. Students in Studio A use the upstairs bathroom; Studio B uses the downstairs bathroom. NO CASH. Any payments/purchases must be debit or credit. Clothing sales final.
