FRANCESINHA One of the most traditional dishes in Porto and thus, an obligatory stop at @brasaocervejarias , our favourite spot for this Portuguese delicacy! The Francesinha is a Portuguese sandwich originally from Porto, made with bread, wet-cured ham, linguiça, fresh sausage, steak and covered with melted cheese and a hot and thick spiced tomato and beer sauce, typically served with french fries. ... On our table yesterday, the typical bread and butter (this butter had proscuito bits), a truffle and meat rissol and of course our delicious Francesinha with a ton of fries. If you're looking for a place to try the typical francesinha, this is it! Cheers to wine and good food

BRAGA DISTRICT Next stop, Braga! Famous for its historical buildings, monuments, gardens and fountains Braga is a beautiful city in the heart of the green Minho region where religious devotion in the form of many churches lies juxtaposed with the typical bustle of a modern city complete with restaurants, bars and it's renowned nightlife (aka Pacha Ofir in Esposende) ... Depicted in second is the Santuário de Bom Jesus, famous for its 376 steps leading up to a gorgeous view of the city! When in Braga, don't forget to stop by Barcelos! Home to Portugal's most famous rooster (you will literally see it everywhere!), Barcelos is a great place to stop for a low budget, yet delicious traditional Portuguese meal and bargain hunting at the weekly "feira" (a street market). Lastly, we can't forget to mention Guimarães, the city where Portugal first originated! Depicted here is the Castle of Guimarães, home to many of Portugal's kings and queens and dating back to the 10th century! Our second destination is the district of Viana do Castelo where you can find cute little towns. 1st picture - Viana do Castelo - Santuário de Santa Luzia, one of the best views over Viana's skyline.... 2nd picture - Vila Nova de Cerveira - Take a swing on baloiço do Cervo aka CerLove. Imagine as you watch the sunset over Rio Minho and Atlantic Ocean 3rd picture - Arcos de Valdevez - A quaint and charming little town known for its meat (Cachena) and for its hiking trails (sistelo) 4th picture - Ponte da Barca - Luxuriant green region by the banks of the River Lima. Barca is thought to originate from the boat that connected both banks before the bridge was built. It also belongs to the Vinho Verde demarcated wine region Great views, good food, good wine, what else do you need? Which one do you like the most? Who here is from Viana do Castelo ?

This Valentines day, we can't think of a better way to celebrate than to be baking Natas for our sweet clients Not even having a romantic dinner at our favorite Italian restaurant @ilmatricianolisbona in Lisbon would be beat this Just kidding....Their Mini meatball spaghetti, Ricotta spinach ravioli, tiramisu, etc etc (everything on the menu) is TO DIE FOR! Hands down best pastas we've ever had, in such a romantic environment, so don't forget to check them out on your nex...t trip to Lisbon! Here's a picture of us in the spot where we first met. A year later, we realized there was a picture of a couple with a heart spray painted right on our spot (below Robert's foot in the picture). Guess you could say we were meant to be Happy Valentines day!

We bake Pastéis de Nata not only because we think those sold at bakeries taste nothing like the original from Lisbon, but also to transport people to the memory of a better time. Today we accomplished our mission when @blackdragonroll 's father said our Natas transported him back to his youth. Thank you for sharing this moment with us! Happy Lunar New Year to all celebrating
