Here's one of our older photos. Someone recently asked what app we used to make it. No, we don't click on an app, we use actual techniques that result in a great photo. In this picture, the subject was photographed with our chair. We draped green fabric behind her and under the chair and her feet. ... Next, green screen software was used to remove the green and render her and the chair with an invisible background. We then found a suitable office photo and superimposed her image into the office photo. Our chair appears to sit on the floor of the office, yet it is a different photo. We then create shadows to make the two pictures look realistic, and finally tone-correct them so they look like one photo. It probably took two hours between taking the photograph, and doing all of the editing, using PhotoShop and many additional plugins. So no, we don't merely click on an app to 'make' a picture, we edit using professional software, skill and experience, and we think the results speak for themselves.
I've been receiving wedding photo email inquiries through WeddingWire and StarofService websites. The problem is that in order to respond, I have to PAY these websites. Those shopping for wedding services may do so for free, but the only way to reply is to pay to join these websites. I'm sure I'm not the only provider who refuses to be forced to pay for an unnecessary service, seeing as Google provides it for free. Please use common sense when Googling wedding service providers. Look for unique websites, not the 'directory' approach. I guarantee you'll get much better responses by dealing directly with service providers.
Our new green screen / retro studio is nearly ready. Here is a shot of step-son Clyde doing a Superman pose using the new green wall as a backdrop, which I then replaced with the sky.
