Happy Saturday!! Let’s meet Mrs. Dykstra! How long have you worked at LCS?: Since September 2020 - I'm a newbie!... What do you do at LCS: I learn, I laugh, I teach Grade Two, all while striving to see the world through God's eyes. Three fun facts about Mrs. D 1. I get to teach in the same school where my husband WENT to school! He's a great guy so I'm thinking the school was great back "in the day" as it is today! 2. I'm an import: I was born in Calgary and lived there most of my life. Both our kiddos, Noah (11) & Esther (9), were also born in Calgary. 3. I make the most mistakes in Grade 2 - I even have the biggest eraser. I try not to be afraid of making mistakes.

We are sooo excited to have our students back in class on Monday but some might miss their at home recess time

Say Hello to Mrs. Delleman!! How long you have worked at LCS?: 7 years (Time flies when you're having fun!) What do you do at LCS?: I teach Grade 4! I also TP the principal's office when he's away and ride the computer cart down the hall when no one's looking.... And three fun facts about you: 1. I lived and taught in Mexico for 4 years before coming to teach at LCS, and my dog (Pedro) is from Mexico! 2. I have travelled to 18 different countries, including mission trips to the Netherlands, Ecuador, Czech Republic, and Russia! 3. I attended Christian schools my whole life - Maranatha Christian Academy / Secondary School, and Redeemer University!

It’s Staff Saturday!! Meet Mrs. Playford! How long have you worked at LCS? This is my first year working at Listowel Christian School! What do you do at LCS?... I am the Office Administrative Assistant. I also help as the Social Media Coordinator! And three fun facts about you: 1. I got married 4 days before starting my job here! Let’s just say it was a crazy summer! 2. I went to Bible School in Owen Sound. 3. I played volleyball in high school (a lot) and even got scouted to play in college.

Happy Saturday!! Meet Ms. ten Brink! How long you have worked at LCS?: I have worked at LCS since 2015.... What do you do at LCS?: I am the Student Support Services Teacher and this year I get to teach Grade 1 too! And three fun facts about you: 1. I can list off the 7 dwarves from Snow White in less than 3 seconds 2. I love to knit and currently am working on gloves for my nephew 3. I lived and taught on PEI for 6 years, yet only went in the ocean 3 times.

Meet Principal Boelens!! How long have you worked at LCS?: I have worked at LCS since 2013. You find out how long that is. I am always inviting you to do the math! What do you do at LCS?: I teach. This year I teach Grade 7-8 math and gym. I also help the Board and staff run the school. I make sure we have teachers in place, the students are safe, and that teaching and learning happens. I also take recess breaks. And three fun facts about you: 1. I love math and spreadsheets...! 2. I've enjoyed biking this summer. I just reached my goal of 1,500 kms this biking season. 3.
