Our babies are hatching!!!!

We hope all our children enjoy Easter weekend with their families! We are excited for next week and to see how many of our eggs are viable!

Tomorrow is the last day of school before a LOOOONG weekend! That means PYJAMA day! Roll out of bed and come to school

Our wonderful toddler teacher Beth has accepted a position with Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child and Family Services as an Early Years Worker. While we will miss her dearly we are excited for her new adventure and extremely happy that she will still be working closely with us and our families. This does mean some changes to the toddler program and for the month of April we will do our best to provide as much consistency as possible while we search for a replacement. Orange Shirt Day is an event, created in 2013, designed to educate people and promote awareness in Canada about the Indian residential school system and the impact it has had on Indigenous communities for over a centuryan impact recognized as a cultural genocide, and an impact that continues today Please remember to wear orange on Wednesday September 30.

Thank you to the RCMP who came and taught Little Badgers about bike safety. It’s pretty awesome to be able to race your bike with a RCMP.

Reminder for those we may have missed today! Tomorrow, Wednesday September 2, we have an RCMP officer coming to do bike safety with us. Please bring your child’s bike and helmet! We have some spares but not enough for everyone!

We are looking for seeds for our garden bed. Does anyone have any leftover peas, lettuce or quick growing veggie seeds left over?

We have five spots left in our nature preschool starting September 15 for 30 mos to 5 year olds. Tuesday-Thursday 8:30-1130 2 mornings a week $200/month 3 mornings a week $300/month... Call 350-342-6331!

Another great week at Badgers! Planted a garden bed, made smoothie popsicles, slip & slide, origami and smiles!

Friends, laughter, smiles, dirt and fresh air! The week has been full of adventure with the badger buddies! We have even been lucky enough to spot the resident badger from a safe distance!

Little Badgers will be reopening on July 2nd with smaller groups and priority placements for essential workers.
