Here is your adorable Friday reminder to stop and enjoy the snowflakes

In our preschool classroom the children have been learning about the solar system and the planet we live on... EARTH! Today we worked together to piece together a multi-cultural earth puzzle. This puzzle teaches us all about the different cultures that makes earth the home, and planet, we know best!

Physical Literacy is so important to the development of young children. Physical literacy is about having the physical skills, confidence, and love of movement to be active for life. At Little Beginnings, we provide a variety of opportunities for children to learn about their bodies. With physical activity providing so many physical (stronger muscles and bones), mental (improves mood and reduces anxiety), and social (promotes teamwork and helps build relationships) benefits, that is exactly what we want!

Meet Miss. Crystal, our Chef! Crystal has over 20 years of experience cooking. She is a wonderful mother of 4 children that keep her busy playing lots of sports! Crystals favorite part of cooking at the daycare is experiencing the happy smiles from all the children's faces! Welcome aboard our team Crystal, we are so happy to have you.

ROOOARRRR! Today we read a fun book about dinosaurs! We used our math skills to measure how tall they dinos are, the colours and shapes as well as played a fun memory game. On one side of the card that Dions are shaded black. We then had to try and match to the corresponding type! We learnt all about where they came from, how long they lived for and we where left with this question, "where are they all now?".
