To parents during these difficult times: It can be very beneficial and should make the period of lock down more manageable for both parents and children if a daily routine is in place. Below is an example parents could follow: - Breakfast - Appropriate screen time 15- 30 mins. for ages 3-7 - and 45 mins-1hr for ages 8 and up - Building blocks activities 15 mins for young ones and Chapter reading for older to teen. - Story reading 15 mins for young ones and some school work fo...r older up to teen, even if it is a repeat of work they did already for 30 mins. - Lunch - Puzzles mania. Age appropriate puzzles for all 30-45 mins - Art activity for all- drawing, colouring, cutting, gluing.30 mins - The categorized guessing game: Who or what am I ? Each individual take turn doing or being someone or something that others have to guess. 30 mins- 1 hour depending on how many are involved. - Screen time and relaxation. Supper. Evening chores-bath etc .-Create a story time. Each create their own story but it should be categorised and fun / dance time with music - Family movie time. - Bedtime Be safe. Be positive. About Little Black Rose Social Skills/ Anger Management Group: The group is designed to be small as it allows for personal intense work with each child. Positiv...e change is able to occur at a faster pace as the children become empowered.Each child is aware of the goal/s he/she has to work on and works with the program requirements to achieve their goal. The children's efforts, accomplishments and progress are acknowledged by their peers, this is motivating for the children so they take pride in sharing. Empowered children no longer need the group. Some children take longer to get to a place of empowerment as each child is different.There have been report from parents and school of observation of improvement in children after two group sessions. It is a requirement that children in the program be observed and behaviour monitored by parents and school. The observation is reported after every four group session. After each four sessions It is a requirement that sessions are booked with each parents for report on the child and the child's needs at that time.
