Hard to believe we have been making these Handmade Perogies on Tuesday’s for the last 9 years....wowza! I imagine the fluffy white stuff is making folks excited about big white opening this month! I imagine the hill will be covered with local peeps home bound and unable to travel to Mexico this year...should be a different vibe up there this year. We have a freezer in Kelowna & Penticton woohoo stock up with comfort food! This is the year for it for sure...something about homemade...brings me back to my grandmothers kitchen...Kay’s Kitchen .When my grandmother went into a home in Manitoba I was lucky enough to receive a couple of things from her kitchen.....a ginormous bread making bowl...and one of my favourite things...a sign reading Kay’s kitchen..it’s here in the back room...lol...I always keep her with me...at home and here at the shop. Sometimes it just takes that one adult to love you and guide you through...my gram was that to me. Who’s your person? I am sooo thankful to have become a grandmother...bucket list! Yes! I hope you had a great day yesterday... the hubby and I just decided to lay real low...our circle is shrinking...as it should right now. Good thing the hubby is sooo very fond of my company We are open for eat in ( and the hubby is ordering a tent and heaters for outside this winter...but we are waiting on one more tent......to arrive then we shall try and get a few more seats in a warmed area outside!
