As some of you know Sadie and I welcomed our baby girl, Blakely Reuber on January 18th 2019. Due to complications Blakely stayed in hospital for 94 nights. Forever in my memory will be the call I received from the Ronald McDonald House notifying us a room was available. During the worst time of our lives we referred to the Ronald McDonald House as home while just 165 steps away the amazing medical staff at the London Children’s Hospital were figuring out our special girl. ... Our son Mason and I were able to look out of our rooms window to see Sadie shining her flashlight from Blakelys hospital room warming his heart that Momma was close. On the days I was able to be in London I used the free speedy Wifi to wirelessly log into work turning our room into my office while Mason played and the days I was unable to be in London I had a peace of mind knowing my family had the best available resources at their fingertips. All meals were provided and prepared by volunteers. Every Worker, Volunteer and Family were uplifting and helpful. Our family was able to stay close together and able to concentrate on what was needed. Without the help of this amazing organization our situation would have been different financially, physically and mentally. We are not the only LRFT family that has been blessed by the Ronald McDonald House and it gives us great joy to be able to donate. Our Family will forever be grateful. What we have is GREAT! What we are looking for in the future is BETTER! But - today and tomorrow isn’t possible without yeaterday. You can’t have today or tomorrow unless you had a yesterday. Here’s something from yesterday. Yes, it’s old and in rough shape. But what it did in its life helped us to be what we are and where we are today.

The first thing I made sure was that this truck wasn’t white with red stripes...

This recent event, while simple enough, gives me hope in mankind. We see and hear so much doom and gloom along with fear. This simple story is proof that selfless people are doing both big and small things everyday restoring our faith in mankind...along with their creator. Our drivers were loaded with refrigerated meat and on their way to delivery in Vernon California. About 3 miles from the delivery, a man in a pickup truck jumped out a stoplight and asked them where they were going. Our driver told him. The man proceeded to escort them directly to their delivery. Our driver wasn't lost and didn't ask for directions. Out of sheer kindness this mans actions took any of the drivers anxiety away with regard to finding a place they had never been to before. It makes my heart warm.

Always a good place for our drivers to stop, and now demonstrating their commitment to essential transportation. A very big THANK-YOU from us all at Little Rock Farm Trucking!

Just a quick shout out in appreciation to our drivers. Our guys and gals are out there doin it to it in these crazy times! They are travelling long distances experiencing closed rest areas, closed restaurants, shippers and receivers who don’t want them entering their buildings and don’t want to be anywhere near them. Truck service on the road is now hard to find. Had a hard time finding anybody to change out a couple bad tires today in Salt Lake City UT. But our drivers are doing all this with very little complaining. I am very proud of them. They are carrying all the essential needs that both Americans and Canadians require to get through the next days, weeks and months. OUR DRIVERS ROCK.
