Peterborough splash pads are open however our child care bubble of families will be avoiding them this summer. There is no way I can keep my crew who love to hug from wanting to play with all the kids and keeping them hands free. We have our own splash pad on the front lawn We are at a dangerous point during this pandamic. People are getting tired of being isolated but this virus is not tired. Choice in child care is so important for parents Both home and center care, licensed and non licensed offer value. Different environments offer again, choice for parents to choose what is important to them. Saftey should be priority #1 for our kids. Parents need to be educated on what they should be asking and looking for on their search for care. There has to be a better solution to Ontarios child care. Let ICPs become licensed on their own. Let ICPs help to pay for their... licence which would involve inspections for safety. Licensed and non licensed sector of child care need to work together.
