And now I’m having flashbacks of when we brought our girls home for the first time. One of my favourite memories was when we brought home our first born, Helena. It was SO stinkin’ hot out and both my hubby and I wanted a beer desperately. (Our first birth was very long and a bit traumatizing). So here we sat with our new baby in bed, drinking cold beers to up my milk production, and soaking in our baby girl. Do you remember those early days?

My girls are 19 months apart and I have been in awe of their connection since the beginning. Watching tiny little humans share big love and giggles makes my cup overflow. I love watching kiddos. Their imaginations run wild, they live wild and free without a care in the world, other than when they’ll get another snack! I always smile when I catch them twiddling their fingers and toes. Oh to be little!

Good morning, I’m going to need like all 12 cups of coffee today. Does anyone else feel like they could use a vacation after all the work that goes into the holiday season?! Currently dreaming of sunny days, lake life, and cold beer.
