COVID-19 April 6th 2021 Update As of Saturday, April 3rd, 2021 the provincewide shutdown was issued, however, following our enhanced safety precautions, we are able to continue providing select care. Our Dental College (RCDSO) has mandated that any elective aerosol generating procedures (E.g. using a handpiece, water scaler for cleanings, air/water spraying, etc.), continue to be avoided at this time.... We are able to continue to provide the following services: 1) Urgent/emergent dental care to our existing Little Bird patients 2) Caring for babies (12 months and under) for focused Tongue and/or Lip Tie Assessments & Treatment 3) General Anesthesia care (sedation) for Dental and Airway Centric Treatments as needed 4) OMT appointments with our SLP are also available For those that their appointments had to be cancelled, once there is a status update regarding the virus, and direction from our dental college, we will directly contact our patients and/or those desiring to become new patients at our clinic to schedule their appointments. Note: Unfortunately, Osteopathic Manual Practitioner care (osteopathy) is Not available during this shutdown period, as they are an unregulated health care profession. Until then, if you are an existing Little Bird patient and have a dental emergency (pain, swelling, etc) please contact our office at 905-876-2473. If after hours, and are an existing Little Bird patient, you may reach Dr. Sigal directly at 289-242-2490. Our Current Office hours as of April 6th, 2021 are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays & Fridays, 8:30AM-4:30PM. We thank you for your understanding and patience during this challenging time. With heart, health & happiness, Dr. Sigal and Team Little Bird Spread Love. Spread Kindness. Spread Your Wings!

Babies of 2020 & Their Families Need Your Help! Since we have re-opened, we have sadly heard countless families’ stories regarding delayed referral for their baby’s tongue and lip tie assessment due to the limited services available throughout COVID-19 (E.g. In-hospital lactation support, typical post-natal care, etc.). What’s worse, is that many families continue to experience challenges related to their baby’s undiagnosed tongue or lip tie, and are unaware of any associati...on. We need YOUR help to spread the word and raise awareness! Here’s how YOU can Help! 1) Share this Facebook Post 2) Share the attached Self-Assessment Checklists and Tongue Tie Awareness Poster (especially with any friends or family with a little one or are expecting!) *The Checklists are also accessible through our website (www.littlebirddental.ca), from the Airway Centric Header. Thank you for taking the time to help the many babies and families of 2020, With heart, health & happiness, Dr. Sigal and our Little Bird Team Spread Love. Spread Kindness. Spread Your Wings!
