I can’t wait to get back to creating new things! It has been a quick 3 months of making strictly custom orders but this spring weather(rain and all) is making me feel motivated and creative. Time to pull out these ideas I’ve been dying to try! Spring release, April 19th

Lately I’ve been starting my pieces with only a colour scheme and no idea where I plan on taking it design wise. Staying original and creating pieces that don’t look like anyone else’s has been a huge goal of mine since the beginning and I like to think that I’m on the right track to finding out where I belong in this beautiful small shop world

Last week I got to be a part of a birthday surprise. You know, the one where the friend is so excited to give the gift and video tapes the whole thing? Ya they probably thought I was weird for crying jk, I didn’t actttually cry, it was just a really humbling moment to be a part of and I was so genuinely happy the rest of the day. The look on her face was the best part of my week. Here’s what the birthday girl did with her piece and I couldn’t love it more

I’m not quite ready for Christmas themed stuff yet, but fall themed stuff is over. So here’s some funky, fun new macrame and ribbon wall hangings! The thing I love about working with these fibres is that they are all recycled, repurpose scraps! I do my best to manage my waste and find it so important to source materials that are natural and recycled These pictures don’t really do these hangings justice, but they give off the prettiest sparkle and the silk ribbon is beautiful in person

It has been a longggg time since I was this proud of myself after completing a piece. I had no idea where I was going when I started it but I knew I wanted to try something new, something I haven’t done yet. I have the tendency to stick to things that are familiar, I’ve been like that all my life. I’m not one to like change. I like to have plans, I like things to stay the same. It keeps me in my comfort zone. But sometimes when you step out of your comfort zone, you’re able to achieve great things.
