Happy Father’s Day!

Little Diva's 21.02.2021

With all the uncertainty and change we face, let’s reframe and focus on this;: We are all facing this together...every one of us will feel the impact. Take com...fort that you are not alone. We are connected. If you’ve been laid off....there are financial supports coming. Hang in there, apply for help where it’s offered. Now is the time to create your monthly bare bones budget. Know what your needs are. Accept wants are a luxury. Scale back to ride this out. Ask your creditors for grace periods. Ask your landlord for rent deferrals. Remember above all....this is temporary. It may be months until normalcy returns, and it will return. This too shall pass. Do your part to help it pass more quickly. Stay home. Self-isolate if it’s warranted. When the news becomes overwhelming, take a break. Take the time you now have to do things you wanted to and didn’t have time for. Try and find what gives you relief and do that. Learn new skills. Try that recipe. Read that book. Call family. Call friends. Help others where you can. Enjoy your kids. Play with them. We are all resilient. We will all recover from the impact. Be realistic and optimistic. Be grateful for all you have. List everything positive in your life and read it, add to it, trust this list will grow. Choose love, compassion and empathy. Breathe. Meditate. Relax. Reach out for emotional support. Be there when others reach out to you. Your actions will define who you are. Actively decide who you want to be. Do you want to spread fear or do you want to spread hope and Love. Be the light others need you to be. Be the light you want to be. Have hope that better days are coming. They are. They are. XOXO

A teacher brought balloons to school and asked the children to blow them all up and then each write their names on their balloon. They tossed all the balloons i...nto the hall while the teacher mixed them from one end to the other. The teacher then gave them 5 minutes to find the balloon with their name on it. The children ran around, looking frantically but as the time ran out - nobody had found their own balloon Then the teacher told them to take the balloon closest to them and give it to the person who’s name was on it. In less than 2 minutes everyone had their own balloon. Finally the teacher said, Balloons are like happiness. No one will find it looking for theirs only. Instead if everyone cares about each others they will find theirs as quickly as possible. See more
