Spring is on the way! We can't wait for all of that water!

Connor was very interested in using one of our learning tools to enhance his sensory experience this morning. A light table encourages a huge range of skills that include: fine motor skills, pre writing, color recognition and hand-eye coordination!

These little guys won't be 2 until October and they are learning to write! That's right ... that's exactly what they are doing. Pre writing skills are established by working on our fine motor skills, which we are doing by manipulating the dough and enhancing our hand eye coordination. We developed strength, control and dexterity in those muscles in our hands that will help us hold a pencil or manipulate scissors later on! Those skills are instrumental and the foundations in learning how to write!

Building and construction has been the name of the game this week! Real tools, real supplies...real experiences!
