Excited to share Dan Bilesky's article in the The New York Times. He shares his love for Okanagan wine and the regulations we face as wineries selling our wines to other provinces.
Now more that ever it is important to enjoy the comforts of home and the little things that bring you pleasure.
Hoping you have a chance to sit back and enjoy a glass of wine this weekend. What's in your glass?
Autumn is in the air here on the Naramata Bench and this week we celebrate Merlot, showcasing our 2018 Gold Merlot. On the nose cassis, blackberry with some herbaceous notes. The palate is full bodied with flavours of blueberry, plum, anise and roasted almonds. This wine is very elegant, well structured with a long and pronounced finish. Hoping you have an opportunity to sit back and enjoy the comforts of home with a glass of our Merlot.
This week we picked the last of our Chardonnay grapes and when we asked winemaker Scott Robinson about this harvest and Chardonnay, his response: "The flavours on all our Chardonnay this year are the best that I have come across in my time in the Okanagan, particularly our Clone 548 off the winery property which is destined for our Gold and Platinum Chardonnay."
Have you had a chance to ride or hike on the KVR?

Deciding when to pick our grapes is one of the most important decisions for a winemaker; relying on not just science but tasting the flavours of the grapes as well.
