Due to limited Fosters, we are not able to take this handsome guy into our care, but we would love to find him a home none the less! Here is a bio provided from his current family: Mr Nibbles is looking for a new home. He is a Flemish giant who was found wandering on our rural property five years ago. He is a gentle giant who loves kale and apples. During the winter months he hangs out indoors and plays with the cats. Here’s Frank and Beans!!! These are the 2 boys that were found near Gill road and were never claimed. They have been vet checked and will able to be adopted once they have been neutered(learn more below). They are both litter trained and living in different foster homes at the moment. Here’s some more details: *ADOPTION PENDING*Frank(grey and white): Little Frank is missing one of his back toes but he doesn’t let that slow him down! He loves to run around, do binkies and play... in tunnels. He also loves to be cuddled and never says no to food. Frank has been friendly with other rabbits and he’s getting used to having a large dog around. He’s about 4 months old so once he’s of age he will be neutered and ready for his forever home! Beans(tricolour): Spunky beans is about 5 months old and has personality for days! He has no problem letting you know when he wants to come out and play and when you have given him a treat he does not approve of! He’s enjoying life with his foster family, not only is he spoiled but he loves to play with the kitties he lives with. Unfortunately one of Beans testicles has not dropped yet and if it doesn’t soon then we will be looking for home where he can be a solo bunny or with a spayed female as trying to get him neutered would be a risky surgery. Helping a Friend!! One of our Foster mommas is needing to find a home for 5 of her female rats! Her schedule is changing and wants to find these ones a new place to rule! There is; Lily, Cera, Doc, Robin and Ricky. ... As a group, they are energetic and will take attention anytime they can get it. I've known them to give up treats for cuddles (Robin and Cera especially). Individually, Lily is quiet and picky. She is always last to the door and is more likely to refuse steak for gerber puff. Strawberry Apple Gerber Puffs are a fan favorite. Cera has always been Lily's best friend and protector. They've been together since they were babies. Doc, is the littlest. She is gentle and always willing to take a treat. She would benifit from more one on one time. I think she comes in bottom of my little Hierarchy. At the top of the Hierarchy is Ricky. She is self assured and curious. A little rough housey but that come with being at the top and around a few other girls that would gladly take her place. Robin, is curious once she settles in. At first she just wanted to cuddle and now she is the first out of the cage trying to escape. They are all very incredible little Mischief Makers lol I will be sending them with a large parrot cage, waterbottles, food dishes, a running wheel, some extra bedding fabric, hammocks, a few hides, and a variable rope jungle gym. These 2 were dropped off to us today by a nice lady who found them near Gill road in Chilliwack. We’re not sure if they are have somehow escaped and are missed by a family or if they were dumped. They look like they are both young male Rexs who seem to be in pretty good health other than one is missing a back toe they will be taken care of and brought to the vet to make sure they are okay, but we would like to get the word out there in case someone is missing these cuties!

Today is International Rabbit Day! Here are the rabbits we currently have up for adoption: Beans: 5 month old rex. We are currently waiting to see if he can be neutered due to the fact that one testicle has not dropped, if we cannot get him neutered he must go to either a home without other rabbits or one with a spayed female. Beans has lots of energy and personality for days! He loves to free roam and play in tunnels. He is used to being around cats in his foster home.... Stevie and Nicks: 1.5 year old dwarf/polish cross. Both are fixed and they MUST go together. They are both affectionate and curious about their surroundings. They are not afraid of tile flooring and will happily explore it. Tunnels are their favorite! They have been around cats, still getting use to the idea of being "booped" by them but so far so good! They were outside for the beginning of their life so they are still getting use to the idea of being picked up. Since they are housed together, they MUST have a minimum of a 4x4 pen. Parker: 4.5 year old Dutch mix. He is neutered and will be adopted out with his large 3.5ft x 6ft pen. We are looking for an experience rabbit owner for Parker because of his size and temperament. Parker hasn't been with us long but he is slowly getting used to his foster home, he likes to "talk" and grumble at you to let you know how he's feeling. But once he trusts you he will boop you to let you know he would like attention and food. According to his previous family he is good with other bunnies and would like a friend. We are still looking for a forever home for the handsome Parker! Parker is a 4.5 year old Dutch cross with loads of personality! He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He enjoys spending his days exploring outside his pen and getting love from humans! Parker loves to play and binky all over the place but once he is tuckered out he will come looking for a human to rest beside and get pets from.... Parker makes little grumbly noises to let you know he is excited! We’ve been calling him our little piggy He doesn’t always like when people are in his pen cleaning up and touching his stuff so he might be better in a home without small children. We have been told he gets along with other bunnies but he is living a solo bunny life right now. We would like to adopt him out with his large pen to make sure he has adequate living space or if you can show that you have a large enough space that works too! Holy Piggies!! We have 4 beautiful Piggies up for adoption currently! 1 male, 3 females! Unfortunately they are all single pigs, but that is okay, with lots of love and playtime Guineas do good on their own. ... Starting with Rosemary (ADOPTED), she is the 1st white & brown in the collage. She is just over 2 years old and at one point in her life she was a momma, so she is a little on the chunky side. Rose is very talkative and affectionate! She has been quite spoiled and socialized in her Foster Home and would make a great girl for small kids. Nova (ADOPTED) our little black & brown, is just over 2 years as well. Again she too was once a momma and is a little chunky. She is friendly, not as vocal and adventurous. She is getting more comfortable with people, but does not like her mouth being touched. Pepper the brindle one is around 5 months and veryyy curious! She loves mazes and finding new ways to get into mischief. Sadly she has shown signs of aggression to other piggies, but in her current Foster Home she is socializing with all sorts of other critters. Mr. Darwin, (ADOPTED) our lone male, came to us as a grumpy old man at around 1 1/2 years. Now he is showing more interest in affection and gets quite vocal when he knows he is getting food! He did play well with a younger male that was in our care, but they were never housed together as housing males can be quite difficult. Every one of them are fed fortified pellet diets and given an array of veggies and hay! All of them would make good kid companions for experienced and new! **ADOPTED** Meet Hams! He’s a shy 3 month old long coat Syrian Hamster! He’s still getting use to the idea that humans are nice creatures. He tends to be defensive, at points he’ll pin his ears, but treats will gain some pets! Hams was born with Amber Eyes, meaning their red! The disadvantage is that he has no depth perspective and shadows are a lot scarier than most. We believe that’s why he’s more defensive. ... During his Foster Care he’ll be getting use to more common care routines and handling. However, Hamsters don’t make the greatest pets for small children because they have the capability of biting pretty hard. Hams would make a great companion for a middle age child or teen. Hi Everyone! We wanted to update on our currently available Littles that are in our Foster Care program. 3x Standard male rats that were hand raised from the day they were born. Their mother gave birth to a litter of 16!! after being rescued from an abandoned building. All other siblings who have found their furever homes have given their new families bountiful energy and character. ... Darwin & Hurley are our two male Guinea Pigs rescued from an in-proper care situation. Darwin is a 1 1/2 years old, full of spunk and full of curiosity. Hurley is approx. 3 months old, very shy and still getting use to human affection. **We do not recommend housing males together unless fully bonded** In saying, these boys have done well while playing together. Winnie & Pepper are our two new female Guinea Pigs rescues that were surrendered over by a women who rescued them from being dumped. They are gorgeous looking girls, however they have to be solo Piggies due to their sass towards others! They are both still getting use to people and the routines of a home. Meet Pepper! She is an American approx. 4 months old. She likes to sit in laps but does not like being picked up. Being young, she will need the work to help get her more use to affection. Unfortunately Pepper needs to be the only Piggy as she has shown aggression to the other pigs that she was rescued with. Her Foster family is working with her on getting her more comfortable with human contact. She did not have the best start, so this lovely girl will need a little extra ...love! Her Foster family is working on her social skills, while getting her more comfortable in a home setting, as she did not come from the best start. The support and voice that each one of you have done for us since we started this rescue has been well appreciated!!! We could not do what we do without your love! ... In saying, we wanted to give each of you a chance to know us a bit better Below are a couple small write ups Ashley; My passion has always been to work with animals in some sort of capacity. Growing up with all sorts of critters, working on farms,learning along side my families doggie daycare business and working currently in the pet industry has allowed me to keep that candle burning. Being involved with fostering, foster to adopt and rescue efforts taught me that their is a companionship one can only have with a rescued animal, no matter the species, is lifelong. I’m lucky that all of my fur babies have been rescued, owner-surrenders or rehabilitated strays. I have had the pleasure to be in the pet speciality industry for a couple years, which allowed me to meet my now manager and rescue partner! I’m a happy mother of a handful of small animals, a spoiled gecko, two comical rabbits and a couple sassy cats! My retirement dream was to open a rescue for all turn-around pets, but that dream came alive sooner than expected and I would not change that for anything! Meet the Entourage; -Winnie, Remmi and Elli (Rats) -Timon (Gerbil) -Ms. Caramel Truffle & Liquorice (Rex X Rabbit and Netherland Dwarf X Rabbit) Ginger, Phantom and Ouzo (Cats) -Dexter (Gecko) Stephanie; I’ve always had love for all animals since I grew up with unconventional pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, frogs and lizards. I took that love and decided I wanted to dedicate my life to helping animals in any way I could. I started working in the pet industry over 10 years ago and haven’t looked back. Being in the pet industry has taught me so much but it hasn’t all been good. I’ve realized that not everyone has that same passion for animals as I do and sometimes pets end up homeless, so I started taking in rescues and now I’ve found a partner to run a small animal rescue with and I couldn’t be happier! Between managing a pet supply store, running a rescue and spending time with my own pets you can definitely say my life revolves around animals! These sweet girls came into our care a couple weeks ago. The one was pregnant and had a beautiful healthy litter a week ago Once the pups are about 5-6 weeks they’ll be able to be adopted (same sex pairs or singles).
