Spring is in the air and this years annual line up for Share a Seed to Grow a Community is Habanero Peppers, San Marzano Tomatoes, Okra, Sunrise Bumble Bee Tomatoes, Sweet Banana Peppers, Cucumbers and Zucchini - Germination underway!!! Once the seedlings are ready, keep an eye out for updates so you can shoot us a DM regarding plant pick up. This is FREE and all we ask in return is to share kindness with others - exchange seeds, seedlings or extra harvest you will have this season also with others. Thanks a bunch and happy sharing!

After a long days work it’s always nice to discover kindness in sharing and creativity in my LFL! Thank you whoever left these ... they are the cutest!!
We are slowly filling the sharing station with harvest from the garden. Today we still have some sugar snap peas, cherry tomatoes and someone generously shared some of their fresh cut garlic chives today (great used dried as well for future dishes)! If you’d like to share some of your harvest with others, know you are welcome to leave behind in our sharing station! If anyone is interested in fresh lettuce and mixed greens, let us know and we can prepare some from our garden as well.

New books and last call to pick up seedlings. We have our last batch of Tomatoes, Hot Peppers and Squash. Please limit to 2 seedlings so there is enough to share. Thanks.
#community in sharing ... we still have seedlings and thank you Frank Leskovjan for adding to sharing your seedlings!
We have seedlings ready if you would like some. We have beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, squash and hot peppers. Please only take what you need so others can enjoy as well. Also replenished the seed packets. Happy planting and pass on the kindness to others.

Share a seed to grow a #community is our yearly initiative we do for our #northkildonan neighbourhood. Seeds are out and our seedlings have started growing. This is all FREE for our neighbours to come take once they are ready enough to share @ my #littlefreelibrary5593 and garden! I will have tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, hot peppers and more to share. Follow our page for notifications when seedlings and harvest is ready this season.
It’s that time of year where we will be sharing seed packets, seedlings and harvest (when ready) with our community. From one seed - comes food. This is the time when we all need one another the most through these difficult times! Many have lost their jobs, cut backs on hours - financially there are a lot who need help! Coming together as a community to help one another is a light at the end of the tunnel. Seed packets, seedlings and harvest will be FREE to take (please don’t hoard and leave some to share with others) at our LFL. In one of the photos, you will see what types of seedlings and vegetables we will be sharing. We encourage the community to join in the sharing as well!

We are getting a head-start to the holiday season at our LFL with the neighbourhood Christmas tree which will be a nice way to engage by passerbys to leave a decoration or two on the neighbourhood tree! In addition to that, for our neighbours who have young children, we have a mailbox for Letters to Santa for you to enjoy and bring your little ones to! If you so wish, you can leave an email that Santa can share with you *wink*. We hope you all enjoy this little addition to our community sharing this season!

Thank you @chvnradio for visiting. It really has been heartfelt for all the visitors we have had from several media outlets that our story has been shared to. Radio, TV and newspapers alike. I am very touched. My hope is just to share awareness of the simple human characteristics we all can so easily share with others ... kindness, compassion, community, spirit, positivity and love. With that I send to all of you.
