So, I can be a purist when it comes to food (do not mess with my crème Brûlée!) Usually, this goes for bread pudding as well. However, I have to say, this Coconut Bread Pudding, made using my coconut buns, is pretty darn good.

Oh happy day! The market is open again! Many happy vendors ready to chat, laugh, and share their wonderful products. Go over; it'll do your heart and mind some good. **LHKB's first market of 2021 is January 23. However, you can snag some egg tarts at 7th Wave Craft Roasted Coffee Café this morning.

The St. John's Farmers' Market will be reopening on Saturday January 9th from 9am-4pm. Mark it in your calendars as the first 2021 market date. We hope you all are having a safe and wonderful holiday.

Hmmm...anyone out there a Quince Paste aficionado? Pointers on colour, texture, and flavour, please. First, I believe it should be red? While mine is a slightly deeper orange than the photo shows, it most certainly isn't red. It is wonderfully firm, with a pulpy texture. Is that correct? As for flavour, should it be solid sweet or should there be some tang to it? Mine has a bit of both. I think it's tasty tasty, but I want it to be correct. If you'd like to be a tester, DM me.
