If we go into orange again down again, I will only be able to offer wet and cuts. What's the sense of keeping us open to cut our income so much! I sent email this to Wayne and Blaine The new rules for staying open during the orange level make no sense. They leave us endangering our health without even being able to make enough money on just haircuts alone. I have many elderly clients that cannot shampoo their own hair and rely on me to do it for them. Close to half of my ...income comes from colour services. It has come to my attention that someone is spreading lies about my business. Janet and Keith Rushton had an appointment on the 10th of June. A week and a half after I opened, they had an appointment at 12:00. They showed up at 11 and complained loudly in the parking lot about having to wait outside. I didn't hear this at the time, but people outside told me after. So come 12:00 on the dot, Janet bellows in the door "how much longer?" I said 5 or 10 minutes. Because of th...e phone ringing off the hook, extra cleaning, handwashing I was behind!! 5 or ten minutes! That made Janet start bellowing in the parking lot. I came out to explain this. Janet had a full out tantrum, stormed off and her husband stayed. He was willing to go against his wife to get a haircut. Now they have spread rumors around that I kicked them out of their spot to take a more expensive client. I don't know how a more expensive client could take only 5 or 10 minutes Anyway this is a lie. Can you tell I've had time on my hands?

In solidarity with my wonderful clients, I will not even color or cut my own hair. I will however be giving myself solitary spa days with my home stash. Facials, foot spas, and hair treatments. I wonder how many "platinum blond" hi-lites I have. Go through your beauty products, organize and have a solitary spa day! Do your crafts! All we have now it's time! Right now all that matters is staying heathy and doing time. I fix the damage this time does when we get back to our normal lives. I will work more hours and accommodate everyone when this is all over. For now, spoil yourself!

We are still open, armed with disinfectant and as a preventative measure.I have removed all magazines and albums. I am doing my best to space clients apart. I ask that people do not come in groups and practice hand washing. As of now there is no Corona virus in Saint John. Also Masa Kikuchi is now, for the time being, giving elbow bumps instead of hugs
