Today sadly marks the last day Little Lambs At Home Daycare will be Licensed with Wellington County. It was a lovely experience, however there were just too many new guidlines due to covid 19 that didnt seem to fit our program. We will however be moving forward as an Unlicensed Home Child Care Provider. This will be a new journey for us, and one that we are very happy and excited to continue down! This way we can keep our home an atmosphere that encourages family ties, and is a space that feels like a second home to my daycare families! Thank you everyone for your love and understanding!

1 Full Time spot now available to start March 2nd, any age. Hours 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday $45/ Day ... PM for more details. Spots tend to go fast. Interviews to be held until the end of February. Looking forward to another little one joining our daycare family!

Today we got to learn about small creatures! As a group we were walking around our yard and came accross a small frog. We looked at it in the grass, then we learned how to gently pick him up. We got to examine all its veins, its eyes, its legs, how it hops etc. I got to answer questions... what is it?! Why is it so small? Where is it going? Why is it here? What does it eat? I also got to encourage them in their feelings. The frog made them nervous at first not knowing what i...t was. Once i picked it up, even the most timid child walked closer to look. I talked calmly and gently and eventually one child wanted to try and hold it. We got to learn a little more about the world today, that once we understand something it might not be as scary! I love these opportunities and get to see such wonder and amazement come from the children. Were lucky we get to experience wildlife here like turtles, frogs, catapillers, butterflies, bunnies, groundhogs, and deer!

Little Lambs At Home Daycare is now doing interviews to fill a full time spot for around January 2020 for any age. If the following appeals to you please dont hesitate to contact me! - Home like environment ... - Small group of children - Vegetarian Program offering healthy meals (usually hot lunches) - Outside play in morning and afternoon - Sensory play, nature play, nature walks, gardening, crafting, reading - $40/day - Hours from 7 to 5pm Our Families have become a special part of our family, and all my kids have developed a wonderful relationship with eachother. We are looking for a family who can grow with us and join our wonderful dynamic.

A year in review. Little did I know that over this past year my families would have become such a huge blessing in my life. They are such a big part of our life and add so much to the happiness in our home. The children have developed such strong bonds, and care for eachother more than I ever anticipated. The laughter that fills my house brings my family joy, and getting to watch these littles experience life (good or bad) brings a smile to my face even on the hardest days.... I got to experience many firsts with everyone as they got to learn and grow....and my have they grown. We celebrated birthdays and seasons. We glittered and glued, we fed animals, we baked, we explored nature, and we learned. These seasons of life fly by, but oh what joys come from them. A big thank you to my families for allowing me to share photos in order to show a bigger audience what our home is about.
