A message from Cynthia, Michelle & Mary Boutilier. "It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Henry Boutilier. Thank you to everyone for the love and prayers during his brief battle with liver cancer. We all prayed for a walk off victory but it wasn't meant to be. He is now playing with the angels in the outfield with Hunter, our Colonel mascot, running alongside. His season on earth is over but we know we will be with him again someda...y. " Sincerely, Cynthia, Michelle & Mary Boutilier. Glace Bay Little League You will forever be in our hearts. Thank you coach for everything you have done for the children and little league in canada.
#FeaturedFriday BUDDIES! Buddies are volunteers who are responsible for working 1-on-1 with their Challenger Baseball athlete, ensuring they are working towards their unique and individual goals and promoting independence. Buddies are a crucial part of any Challenger Baseball program. - Being the liaison between the athlete’s parent(s) and the coach;... - Assisting with motivation and fundamental movement techniques; - Cheering on players and encouraging and/or assisting them to set personal goals; - Being a friend and supportive partner; - Assisting players in learning big life skills alongside learning the fundaments of baseball; and - Advocating for the individual differences and needs of an athlete.
