Scrying helps us to get in touch with our unconscious minds: the realm of the soul. As such, it can be used as a powerful form of self-understanding and psychoanalysis. Hold Space for 2020 The easiest thing to do would be write 2020 off, forget all about it. Every misstep and emotion discredited, every little (or big) win labelled a fluke, every disaster forgotten*. The wisest thing to do however, would be to hold space for the emotions and events of 2020, even if only for a moment. When I say hold space for 2020, I mean: Practice gratitude, thank your mind, body and spirit for getting you through this year. Ask yourself questions like Wh...at did I learn about myself, my environment and the people around me?, Are the habits I developed during survival mode conducive to my growth moving forward? Or am I in a position now to leave behind that which does not serve or fulfil me?, What lesson do I need to bring forward with me? Write these answers down and come back to them when needed. Most importantly, do not compare yourself to others. This is a poison we’re all guilty of consuming. We are all on beautiful unique journeys. Ask yourself questions, but be impeccable with your word. Use the power of your words in the direction of Truth and Love. *Not every disaster can or should be simply forgotten. BIPOC do not have the privilege of simply forgetting the traumas they’ve experienced this year, and throughout history. If you decide to forget all about 2020, I urge you to remember, to keep the fight and momentum going for equality and justice for the BIPOC community. Pictured here is Lepidolite.
