We are now accepting registration for our Urban Explorer's preschool program! Space is limited to six spots. Start date is November 15th! ... For ages 2.5-6 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Drop off and pick up location: Esquimalt Urban Explorers is an all day, mobile adventure preschool, designed to create community care, involvement with our town and learning of this exciting place we call home! From nature sanctuaries to the museum, the bug zoo to the ocean, every destination is a spot to learn and explore. Tuition covers all costs and fees for experiences during the day. I've had the pleasure of attending some excellent workshops around "risky play". I've taken so much away from these teachings. I believe that the power of unstructured, child led play is a key component to helping our children face future mental health and behavioural challenges. Learning to trust themselves, kids become much more resilient and better equipped to handle life challenges

Hi Families! We are gauging interest on those who may be interested in a fully outdoor nature immersion forest school! We are looking to enroll for the Winter/Sping season. Enrollment is open to ages 3-5 and home learners grades k-2. ... Hours of operation are 9am - 1 pm. Parent participation welcome. We run out of Portage Inlet, traditional Lekwungen-Songhees territory. A beautiful, natural setting right along the ocean. Kids are free to explore, build connection to the land and foster their connection to community. Our programs are based in bio regional principals and the art of living well in place.
