We simply wanted to share, because we care: Dear Sport Partners, The Province of Manitoba has provided the following information that we'd like to share with you.... The Health Canada COVID Alert app is now available to Manitoba residents and provides digital COVID-19 exposure alerts once the app is downloaded to a smart phone. COVID Alert helps break the cycle of infection by letting people know of possible exposures before any symptoms appear. The app is one more tool that people can use to be aware of a possible exposure to COVID-19. The app uses Bluetooth technology to detect when users are near each other. If a user tests positive for COVID-19, they can choose to let other users know about potential exposure risk without sharing any personal information. The Manitoba government now has colour and black-and-white posters available (in English and in French) for businesses, workplaces, schools, child care centres, primary care clinics, testing sites and other locations at http://www.manitoba.ca/covid19/updates/covidalert.html . Please share this link with your networks and encourage them to print and display the poster to ensure Manitobans are aware the app is available for download.
