In honor of Remembrance Day (November 11th, 2020), the Senior Kindergarten students collaborated as a class and created a beautiful piece of artwork with a soldier saluting, and being surrounded by poppies. Moreover, the kids wrote thank you letters to the veterans who are currently stationed in Kosovo, thanking them for their service and the sacrifices they have made and continue to make for the country.

On October 20th, we were honoured to have had Boris Vdovine, who is a professional dancer and two times American Rhythm champion, visit us and speak about his life as a professional dancer. Boris has traveled around the world, performed on world-class stages, and worked with renowned choreographers. Moreover, he and his wife, Patrica, are both well-known in the professional ballroom community. Throughout the whole event, the students had the opportunity to learn more about the different types of ballroom/Latin dances and what it is like to be a professional dancer. The event ended off with a short salsa performance, performed by Boris and one of our teachers, Ms. Madeline, and a mini-lesson of basic Bachata steps led by both of them.
