Good morning all, Sorry it's been quite a while since I've posted. A little update on the situation here at Little Pebbles Dayhome. I will be looking at hopefully being able to get back fully by October. I am currently having the roof redone at my home. So it is definitely not quite safe yet to be outside the property. Until it is fully cleaned up. Also with all the noise, it's not exactly an environment for little nappers. Unfortunately we ran into a bit of a hiccup as we ha...ve to wait for specs materials to finish the job. However otherwise things are well here. I will have some part-time spots available and and some full-time spots as well come October. I am having a few issues viewing and finding messages for some reason. As I get notification, however when trying to view I cannot open. So please still feel free to contact me. But please do not feel like I am purposely ignoring your message. That is not the case at all. I am working to fix whatever the issue with that is. I will try to respond as soon as possible. I appreciate the patience and understanding. I hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to hearing from everyone and anyone looking at childcare. Note as I will have my own child in kinder at Millgrove likely next month as well. If you are looking for before and after school care for that school. Please feel free to contact me. As I am within walking distance. Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. So just an update, taking in consideration our current situation still. Little Pebbles dayhome will not be re-opening immediately on the same date. That the province will start on May 14th. For safety and obvious health reasons. I will be following the situation, best as possible. As Phase 1 is implemented in and see how that does first. At which point I can further assess and update. When Little Pebbles dayhome might have our own... tentative re-open date. Obviously I'm hoping it can be sooner than later. But I do not want to get ahead of myself and make any decisions. That would result in taking us 2 steps back instead. I would like to continue to thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation. I hope we can get back to routine soon. Reorganizing and deep cleaning, including extra disinfecting. While everyone's been home staying safe. So until further notice. I will not be accepting any new clients or conducting any interviews. Good afternoon parents, I just wanted to share a friendly reminder. That if your child isnt feeling well or "themselves", feverish, cough, ect. Please keep them home. Due to the current health situation of the Covid-19 virus. I ask that we all take the extra precautions to keep all our homes healthy. Please if you or your spouse travel for work and arent feeling well. Keep your child at home as well please. As the incubation period for this virus is at least 2 possibly without symptoms. I understand that at the time Alberta is still considered a low risk. However I need to be extra careful, due to the fact i qualify under the "vulnerable" immune systems. So I ask that you please respect that and as well I just want to make sure everyone is staying healthy as well Thank you for your ongoing efforts and understanding.

Hello Parents, Just a friendly reminder Little Pebbles Dayhome will be closed Dec 24, 2019 to Jan 1st, 2020 (a total of 7 business days). Re-opening Jan 2nd, 2020. As I had sent out a letter in regards a couple months back. Due to change in my personal family life. To make time for as much family time during holidays as possible. Without any major interruptions to my dayhome families. Again I appreciate and thank you for the understanding and hope that you all can enjoy the holiday season with all your friends and family as well

Hello Parents, This weekend I will be finishing up workbooks. In these workbooks there will be letters A-Z. Each week we will learn and practice tracing 2-3 letters at a time. Along with these the workbooks will include numbers and shapes. This will help in learning to recognize letters better. To learn to write without tracing and eventually form words. By combining the letters theyve learned to write. I hope this will help better prepare for kindergarten. Ill be starting these next week and continue weekly until theyre finished. And because they are reusable, we can keep practicing regularly

Little Pebbles dayhome will be opening up some spaces February 2019. If you or someone you know is looking for childcare. For ages 2-4, either part-time or full-time. I am in a mature neighborhood, clean and safe home, childcare first aid/CPR certified. I offer hot lunches and snacks. I can cater to some food allergies if necessary (can be discussed). My hours of operation are Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm (closed on stats). Outdoor fenced in backyard for outdoor play, weather permitting. Lots of free-play and I keep my child to myself ratio low.
