Little Red Hen Hatchery

The young hens decided to start laying while we were on vacation. The two rows on the right are the self blue skies and Japanese bantam eggs. Pretty large eggs from these small bantam hens.

One whiting true green one blue andalusian six Japanese bantams three days of sub zero temperatures. Spring is just around the corner.

We have tried the Cornish, Buckeye, Orpington, Chanteclars and the Giants. The cornish were great for meat only, the others were great dual purpose birds.
