We started a project to rebrand Michael Kidney Financial Planning in 2020. We are proud of our new name, identity, and vision. This has been developed with feedback from several of our clients who, through a series of interviews, provided a lot of honest feedback. We are honored to feature some of this feedback in our client Success Story section. We have also created a Professional Advisor Resources section for our accounting and legal partners to receive up-to-date information relevant to financial planning. LiveBy Wealth Management and Connie Hapgood are excited to announce the creation of the Dr. Connie Hapgood PMC/ LiveBy Wealth Management Research Travel Award for MD Learners. Medical students contribute to ground-breaking research that influences patient care. Today, we are pleased to announce we will be providing funding for an annual scholarship of $3,000 for a medical student at Memorial who excels in Medical Research. This 10-year commitment will fund medical students, ...providing them with the opportunity to attend medical conferences to share their research findings. Information learned from these conferences will also be brought home allowing for further advancements locally. _________________________________________________ Information on the award below as provided by Memorial University This award was established by a generous donation from Dr. Connie Hapgood and Mr. Michael Kidney. Today more than ever ground-breaking research will be important to deal with medical issues and pandemics. This award will allow our students to show case their research and learn from their peers around the world. Valued at $3,000, the award will be granted annually to a student in the MD Program at Memorial University of Newfoundland who receives the highest mark in their research project and will be used to cover the costs of travelling to a recognized conference to present their research. The recipient must meet the minimum academic requirements for an award as defined by Memorial University.
