Day 1 of our Names of Jesus Advent.

Today is our First Day of Advent. But as we look toward to the cradle we also need to look to why He came. It didn't end at the cradle it was the cross.

It has been almost a year since our last performance. And what an amazing challenging year it has been. As we prepare our hearts for Christmas I, (Janet) have been contemplating how to make this a Christ Centered Holiday for my family. I came across the idea of a names of Christ Advent calendar. And am so excited for the 1st of December. We will put our tree up early this year so that every day we can hang an ornament and read about the names of Jesus Christ. I am including a couple of pictures of how I made the ornaments but there are many possibilities! I hope this inspires you to also look towards the Christ this Christmas.

This is the set that needs storing. It can be flat packed (it fit under our deck but due to dogs can't be stored there anymore ) or alternative is we could assemble somewhere and it can be used until we need it back at the church in November of 2021.

This wonderful set is in need of a place to be stored until Fall 2021. It will be disassembled and can be delivered. Prefer somewhere dry but flexible and open to options. Please contact me (Janet) or the Church (College Heights Baptist Church) if you might be able to help us in this.
