It's hard to believe, but November is nearly over, and the festive season is upon us! What a beautiful sight it will be to see the trees decorated by community members and lit up in Privateer park, Liverpool (and this year, for the first time, at Queens County Museum and Hank Snow Home Town Museum). What a great job by South Queens Chamber of Commerce, and all businesses, community groups and individuals/families who have come forward to sponsor and decorate a tree. #RoomToRoam and explore the beauty #Seeknaturesrewards #QueensCoast

Since the rain has kept me from exploring today, I thought I would make a post about what I would normally be doing on labor Day weekend. For the past several years I have participated in the annual Hibernia guides competition. Unfortunately it isn't being held this year which is too bad as it is the 100th year anniversary of the guides association incorporation. The guide competition has been held on labor Day Weekend in Hibernia since 1978! I would like to make a shout out to Charmaine Stevens who has let me tag along with her each year and my great partner Ella Stevens. I am sure more than just a few of you have participated in the Guides Competitions along the years. So here are some photos of the competition along the years. -Your QCSA Marah Mitton. #seeknaturesrewards #rediscovernovascotia #roomtoroam #novascotia
