Public Message: David Francey Postponed Live Wire Music Series is very sorry to announce that the upcoming David Francey concert on March 21 has been cancelled due to the threat posed by the current pandemic. Ensuring the health and safety of our audience, our volunteer organizers and our musical guests is our primary concern at this time and this includes mitigating risk and worry. We believe it is our responsibility to cancel and that exercising caution is the best course o...f action. Today, Kingston's Grand Theatre canceled their March shows and The Isabel Bader Centre is in the midst of doing the same. Live Wire's March 21st concert will be rescheduled at a date TBA and tickets will be honoured for the new date and refunds given to those for whom the new date does not work. Our April 18th Live Wire concert will (hopefully!) go ahead as planned. Stay well and stay calm, The Live Wire Team

? , https://livewiremusicseries.ca/ Live Wire Music Series is sponsoring a very special 90 minute workshop with Montreal’s Christine Tassan and her gypsy jazz group les Imposteures. This workshop is appropriate for intermediate level musicians on any melodic instrument. Guitar, violin and bass are the instruments that the instructors play, but other instruments accordion, mandolin, clarinet, banjo or others would be most welcome. Christine is a master teacher and this will be an opportunity to learn about gypsy jazz and improve your chops in a supportive and friendly atmosphere. The cost is $25 per participant.
