Create a Higher Standard of Being Something you hear me talk a lot about is good energy. This is about treating yourself well physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.... Checking Your Inner Battery throughout your day to help you create a keystone habit of good energy. This may sound simple, but it has incredible spill over effects. In my Happy & Productive Group this morning, I asked participants to share what they notice in their lives now that they are consciously cultivating the habit of good energy. They shared things like: Better relationships, because they are aware of who they are being in conversations and not dragging old emotions, stories and drama in. And also able to observe others with more compassion. More awareness. Recognizing when self sabotaging patterns come up, like those moments when you want to reach for a a bag of chips to soothe themselves, so they can make a better choice, that empowers them and makes them feel good. Heightened Intuition, feeling confident and grounded - a big shift from the overwhelm experienced just a few weeks ago. Stop being a fixer and approaching life and situations from a place of love - healing an old core wound. Releasing the handcuffs of fear that they have put on themselves and letting them rise up. These massive shifts are from an expanded self awareness. Asking ourselves "how am I feeling," something we neglect to do in our lives, always focusing on how others are doing. This is about Checking Your Inner Battery throughout the day, and CHOOSING to feel good. CHOOSING to show up as the best version of yourself. It's not simply self care. It is Self Awareness. Reconnecting with the True You throughout your day, and letting that incredible wisdom guide you, inspire you, encourage you and get you closer to your biggest dreams and desires. Understanding how to Check Your Inner Battery is part of the foundational work I do in all of my programs- creating the habit of good energy. There has been a lot of unusual weather throughout the United States this week. Many warm states have been experiencing cold weather, snow and ice, that have not been seen for several decades. These homes are not equipped for the cold weather, with no central heating. If you have live in one of these areas that are experiencing unusual cold and you have a Biomat and you haven't already been using it, I encourage you to do so! ... The Biomat can help you stay warm at night and during the day. Take care to manage your layers too. You don't want to get too hot and sweat and then get chilled when you are not on the Biomat. TIP: If you have a Mini Biomat and want to use it to sleep on, I recommend having it on your bed about 20 minutes before going to sleep. First, put it at bottom of your bed where your feet rest, and put your pyjamas in this area as well. Then brush your teeth. You'll warm up the bottom of your bed and you pj's. It will feel so good going into warm pyjamas if the house is cold. Then move the Biomat to be under your back to keep your core warm.
