I was the photographer at an event a few years back where President Clinton was the keynote speaker. Before the event began, VIPs got to take a picture with him in the back. As I was waiting for him to arrive I looked down a long hallway and spotted him walking toward me, flanked by 8 people, among them secret service. It was like a movie scene as they approached. Towards the end of the VIP pix I was thinking it would be nice to get a picture with the President but with one o...f the secret service on my shoulder I decided not to bother asking - until said secret service agent leaned over and said he'd take a picture of me with the President at the very end.
