With all the flower orders heading out the door this week here are a few tips to keep your flowers fresh. 1. For hand-tied bouquets - unpack the flowers immediately upon arrival. Cut 1/4 off the bottom of all the stems on a diagonal. Once cut place the bouquet in a vase of fresh water at room temperature. For vase arrangements - top up the water upon arrival. Enjoy! 2. Every other day clean the vase with soap and refresh the vase water, trim the stems with each water change.... 3. Keep fresh flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources. 4. As flowers die off, pull them from your arrangement and continue to enjoy the beauty of fresh flowers as they evolve. See more
