This Sunday ushers in November! Join us as we focus in on verses 6 & 7 of Second Peter 3. Judgment is the theme, and in Communion we can celebrate the fact that Christ paid our overwhelming debt so that we, through His death and resurrection, might be spared from His judgment and fall upon His mercy and grace. Thank you, Jesus, for taking our place.

This Thanksgiving Sunday we start the last chapter of 2nd Peter where Peter reveals his purpose for writing the letter. One. Word. Remember. Who of us doesn't need a reminder? To have our memory jogged and refreshed? Especially when life is squeezing us and confusion from false teaching bombards us. Remember. Please join us as we continue on our journey through this second letter of Peter. :)

This Sunday Pastor Frank will be talking all about Leadership, as we take a week off from 2nd Peter. This kicks off our Discernment week, when we seek God's direction for those He is calling into leadership (Overseers) at Living Hope. Also, a reminder that we will be celebrating communion. This Sunday, Pastor Frank will be wrapping up chapter 2 in 2nd Peter, which was all about False Teachers, all 22 verses! Knowing God, with both head AND heart, is important in knowing the real from the counterfeit. As Jesus said, His sheep know His voice. May we be sheep that truly know Him.
