Happy Friday everyone! Just letting you know that there are fresh goodies out on the donation table that may help prepping for your Thanksgiving dinner and they’ll be there for the weekend. Just remember, if the doors are locked at our entrance, come in through the doors at the Electron Depot midway in the back parking lot!

Couple of reminders: 1. We are open today until 3pm... lots of things out on the table. 2. Don’t forget to fill in the ATTAINABLE HOUSING survey online (link on our page) or fill in a paper copy at Living Hope before the end of the day Wednesday. To all who took a copy, get it back to us by Wednesday, or to the town offices by Thursday 12pm. Make sure you take this opportunity to share your experiences!

PLEASE SHARE! Have you taken a moment to fill in the town's ATTAINABLE HOUSING SURVEY? This is your chance to give your input to the town about your housing situation. Their heart is that "all people can live in affordable, accessible, and available housing of their choice". It is important them to gather information from everyone, no matter of situation, income, age or type of residence, in order to make informed decisions. It takes 8-10 minutes to fill in! If you need a paper copy, Living Hope has some out on our donation table and will be collecting them until Wednesday, October 7th in order to get them to the town by their deadline. https://forms.saugeenshores.ca/In/Attainable-Housing-Survey

Today is the last recycling day in Saugeen Shores (Port Elgin’s turn) to contribute to the Recycling Food Drive! Thanks to all who have contributed so far!

We're open until 3pm today, lots of bread and goodies to go! Also, for the next week when the Food Basket is open (Tuesdays/Thursdays 12-3pm), we'll be setting out summer clothing in order to make room for the warmer things in a few weeks, come check it out...
