Crate training has been well underway this week for Chip’s Prairie Doodles puppies! So far they are all doing great and Chip enjoys supervising them I’m so going to miss these little sweeties, but it helps a lot knowing they all have wonderful forever homes to go to!

Many dogs come to Puppy Boot Camp so they can be crate trained. JJ came to me to work on crate training, and he hated the crate from the get go and made it known! It took 4 days to convince him that the crate is actually not a bad place after all, and somewhere he can feel safe. I’m very proud to say when I took him home he showed his owners what he learned in Boot Camp and did great in the crate. I look forward to hearing updates about how he is doing! Best of luck, JJ!

No matter how much we physically and mentally prepare for winter, it always seems like such a shock when it comes doesn’t it?! The dogs have had so much fun running and playing in the snow this week. All that activity keeps them very warm! Hope you and your pups have a great weekend!

We are so excited to welcome JJ the 4.5 month old Goldendoodle to Puppy Boot Camp! He is having a blast playing with Faith and Jack in the snow in between training sessions!

Please join me in wishing my girl Kimi a very Happy Birthday! My girlie turns 2 today! She is so much fun and such a loving pup. Every day she makes us laugh and we can’t imagine our lives without her in it (it would be very boring indeed! ). A big thank you to Prairie Doodles for bringing our Kimi into our lives!

I always have a hard time saying goodbye to my girls Prairie Doodles puppies, but this one was especially tough. Our whole family grew very attached to sweet Rafferty, so some tears were shed when he left us to head to England to meet his new family. It’s very empty here without him but we are so lucky to have been able to enjoy his company since he was born here 18 weeks ago! Goodbye sweet boy!

This is Sunday morning exercise at its finest! Even when it’s cold out, it’s so important to still get outside and get some exercise (for both doggies and humans!). It makes going in where it’s nice and warm that much better!
