You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. Genesis 50:20 In the book of Genesis, there’s a story about a man named Joseph who endured a lot of hardships. He was betrayed by his brothers, separated from his family, sold into slavery, and he was thrown in jail for a crime he didn’t commit! Although there was a lot of things going against him, God was for him. In this story y...ou’ll find God defending and guiding Joseph every step of the way. You might be faced with something completely bad; maybe it’s a failing grade, losing a loved one, a relationship ending, or bad news from the doctor. No matter what the situation might be don’t lose heart! He doesn’t waste the pain or heartbreak you’ve endured. God doesn’t just make bad things a little better or somewhat bearable, God takes completely bad things and makes them completely good! While positive thinking or optimism might work for a while, only God can turn completely bad things completely good! If you’re facing something completely bad, take some time to reach out to God. If you know someone who’s going through a rough time encourage them with God’s word today See more

Because of that, we can bravely say this: ‘The Lord is the one who helps me, so I will not be afraid. I will not be afraid of anything that people can do to me.’ Hebrews 13:6 It can hurt a lot when people abandon you, betray you or gossip about you. The hurt we experience has the potential to take root in our hearts and grow into fear. Maybe you’ve had a close friend you trusted get close to someone else and gossip about you. Or maybe you’ve been abandoned by so...meone who said they would never leave you. When situations like this happen, fear can stop us from getting the help and healing we need. Our first instinct might tell us that we can’t trust anyone, many times we put up walls around our hearts to defend ourselves. Those walls will keep out the people who could hurt us, but they also keep out the people who could help us. The greatest source of help in all situations is God! In the bible, it tells us God is completely trustworthy and Hebrews 13:6 says that God is the one who can help us! If you’re facing a tough situation, there’s still hope! Open your heart to God and allow Him to help you and heal what’s been broken in your heart. It won’t change what’s been done to you, but from now on those things won’t define you! See more
