Happy Thanksgiving!! I'm thankful for the people I get to work with, and those who I see over and over through the years! This beautiful family braved the rain for their entire session... and you know what? Even on rainy days, the magic of fall still shines through... it's amplified by the beautiful smiles and love that all of you share! Thank you for letting me capture these moments. Every year, there are those perfect few evenings in the fall (my absolute favourite time of year to capture photos). It's not overcast, raining, snowing.... the sun hits the trees just right, and it makes the colours burst. I love colour, and I don't want to mute it or change it when I take things into post-processing. To me, that is what we got... these are the moments we spent, creating memories for your family to cherish for years to come... this is what your eyes saw... while we were creating those moments... these are the reasons that you listen to my crazy ramblings about why we should shoot your images in a small window, at just the right time of day... why change it? I certainly don't want to! I am thankful for what I do. I am going into the new year with some changes, and I hope that I will continue to see you all here for many years to come while I continue to grow, change, and evolve. Thank you all for becoming such big parts of my heart, and for allowing me into your family's hearts for all the little pieces of time I get to spend with you!
