There is sometimes radio silence..... and while- yes- that's not great for 'business' Ultimately it's excellent for those I work with, and support, it supports teaching and sharing in a genuine 'real life' capacity. ... It feeds authenticity. Because the truth is.... You only have SO many energy outlets. You can only channel your energy effectively in a finite number of directions. For me, social media can be a big drain. I have this love and urge to share....with everyone... But finding the right hashtag and inventing a creative post that will set me beyond the masses is not the way I want to share. Its not the way I want to channel my energy. and so......radio silence means I'm recharging. Im enjoying and living my life offline- well enough to share... to support to teach to learn to be true to me So I can be true to you. Good Evening Yogis- Today the British Columbia government and health officials have ordered a temporary closure for Spin, Hot Yoga, and HIIT classes. We want to... assure you that our staff has been working since day one to go above and beyond with the precautions and cleaning procedures to ensure the safety of all of our community. Not to worry, your yoga life will not skip a beat! There will be no more HOT yoga effective midnight today November 19, as mandated by the provincial government. BUT, in place of HOT yoga, we will be offering some classes in above normal than room temperature settings. Let's call them warm, summery, tropical, balmy, a little peppery but they won't be called HOT. All of our classes will still be fun, loving and most of all safe and extremely sanitized. As everyone knows we have long since implemented our own mask policy so there will be no changes there. Wear your mask 100% of the time unless you are settled on your mat in your own space, doing your practice. If you need to get up from your mat you must put your mask back on. So please make sure you grab any props you need at the beginning of class. We will continue asking all students to sanitize before and after class, their own mats, as well as any props borrowed from the studio. Our instructors and karma cleaners will be sanitizing the room and common areas between classes to ensure the safety of everyone. We wish everyone a safe and wonderful evening and would like to thank you once again for your patronage and all the love and joy you bring to our studio. Without you, we are just a building.
