It was high school. It was Art class. We were to take off our shoes and draw them from the angle pictured here. Then the Art teacher proceeded to ridicule our art - our interpretation - our first attempts in learning. It hurt me. It stayed with me all these years. It taught me to learn to live my life by following the Four Agreements, especially ... 'what someone else thinks of me is none of my business'. May we be blessed by our experiences and in some way work to make life a little bit better each day. Blessings ... L

Crystals are a passion of mine. This beautiful specimen is Fluorite. Here's some information about Fluorite...it resonates with the Root, Spleen, and Solar Plexus Chakras - cleansing them all. Fluorite absorbs negative energies from our surroundings. Along with being a chakra cleaner, it cleanses our auric field; and aids in being a 'mental cleanser'. It is especially protective of our Spleen Chakra (located under your left arm at the centre of your bottom rib). Our spleen centre distributes the vital energy we receive from the sun.
