It's been an interesting year to say the least!! All of us will remember the effect 2020 had on our lives. Personally, our family have had to adjust with our son Isaac graduating from school and attending his 1st year in Calgary at University, our other son, Marcus had to change his plans as his ski season on the BC Alpine Ski Team was cancelled and Gary's daughter having a baby during Covid meant little visiting time for us and a lot of concern for her. At work we made adju...stments and enabled ourselves to carry on safely to help our clients buy and sell. The real estate market went to a grinding halt after a positive start. Then come summer things started to pick up and demand from outside the region continued to increase with the rise and success of the virtual workplace. Larger homes were being desired more as households sought to balance work, life and play as never before. Inventory of homes for sale was struggling to keep up with demand as listings declined and is now comparable to decade lows. We are looking forward to a better 2021 and forecasts for real estate are all strong.
