Workshops/Training during Covid? Yes!!! Many of my clients are essential service providers and have worked every single day of this COVID-19 disaster. ... For them it is business as usual and training is still required - Pandemic or not. As the training provider, reimagining how to stay safe AND still offer engaging, high impact training evolved into this: 1. Masks for everyone. 2. Small groups - depending on the restrictions, usually 5-10 people. 3. Well ventilated and large training room ~ in this case, we used the large lunchroom. 4. Lots of breakout activities for even smaller working groups. 5. Training during off hours ~ this workshop took place on a Saturday when we were the only people in the building. 6. No sharing pens or other supplies. 7. Covid waiver completed at every session. 8. See the red circle in pic 2? That’s one participant who joined us via Zoom. We moved Andy on iPad around all day so he didn’t miss a thing! 7. No buffet style morning coffee or lunch table. So, with a few accommodations essential training carries on! Safety First.. First Coaching appointment of the day was postponed. My client is in a lineup to vote in Alabama. And... the line goes on for blocks. But it is all good. Coaching will be waiting here tomorrow!
