HAPPY NEW YEAR!! The last day of 2020! What a year it has been for all of us! We saw the real estate market in Sudbury boom with record sales as it was a Seller's market! Homes sold for "at asking or overasking" many times and the inventory was at an all time low yet Buyers were at an all time high. Sudbury is a very diverse City and is offering employment in many sectors with the ability to work at home in many cases. This is one of the reasons we saw an increase in sale...s, our clients were choosing to move up or downsize, leave apartments, head to rural areas outside the City, retire, move back home or move out of town, mainly due to COVID-19 and with it's restrictions presented in 2020. This year my office at RE/MAX Crown Realty listed 1562 listings as of December 10th and our agents did a total of 132 sales for the month! It has been quite a year even in how we work in real estate with our clients. We had no open houses, wore masks and gloves at each showing, the COVID questionnaire was asked before entering a home, a limit of 2 clients per viewing for 30 minutes only was set up, all of this to maintain safety for all parties. Marsha and I are so proud of what we have accomplished this COVID year considering the challenges we faced as an essential service and because of your support, past and present, it was a great year.
