What makes our soil different than any other living soil? Having a small operation I do all the measurements and mixing and use it in my own houseplants, garden and cannabis plants. I have seen some soils with special spikes or layers, while I am sure this will do the trick, I think, don't you want your plants, especially cannabis and autoflowers to have the optimal conditions right from the start? All the amendments and soil goes through my hands and I ensure proper mixin...g and no clumps or pockets of super rich fertilizer waiting to burn your plant as its roots grow throughout the soil. From my own experience I understand the importance of proper mixing! I also believe in sourcing as much local amendments as possible. Supporting local business and reducing shipping emmisions are only two reasons. The effect of foreign inputs on our plants however can have surprisingly drastic effects Wich we are slowly beginning to understand through current science. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6780873/ When adding foreign microorganisms to our gardens I compare it to bringing in foreign plants or fish into a lake. (Invasive species) Either those plants and fish will die as they do not have the right conditions or they will out-compete the already naturally existing fish or plants. All of our LABS, fermented fertilizer and WCA (water soluble, micronized calcium for plant and soil application) worms, and rabbit nurdles are produced right here. With the cooperation from our animals, nature and with my hands. With that same mentality, I look to offer different options than the standard bone meal, blood meal and bat guano that seems to be trending and widely used. I don't think these products are horrible and I would definitely recommend them over synthetic bottled nutrients all day. I believe I can offer options that are more sustainable, eco-friendly, and local. I encourage any consumer to look at each ingredient and research why it is used in our soil and to really understand what we are trying to do in our gardens. I don't believe there is a magic bullet solution to the ultimate pest free super grow, but I feel that growing organically with living soil and larger containers is a move away from that mentality and to stop searching for the next bottle that will give you the ultimate bud, or tomato! Its a process and we learn on the way to provide an environment where our plants can express their true potential. If you're just starting, just get the seeds in the soil, don't worry and have some fun! Ingredients: certified organic Sphagnum peat moss Pumice and perilite Fish compost Worm castings Alfalfa meal Kelp meal Insect frass Glacial rock dust Gypsum Crustacean shell Mycorrhizae Aged & grinded natural rabbit manure Innoculated with multiple biofertilizer. Handful of red wiggler worms/5gall.

Today I had a great conversation with a master organic gardener while sourcing local organic alfalfa meal and pellets. (Excellent benefits as a natural fertilizer in your garden) So, not mentioning any names- I learned that - *large chemical fertilizer company*- not only will not share shelf space with organic competitors but also will not even do business with retailers that sell organic fertilizer options....... Something to think about, however it is great to meet with people doing really meaningful work and research in our food chain and making a difference. Have a great day!
