Having an amazing dad is probably one of the best gifts I could ever be given. The fact that I get to say that as of Monday I have an amazing 80 year old father is near impossible to describe. He’s the guy who says shine it up kid, (which is code for get it together), Whatever you like, (which is code for you are in charge) C’mon, (which is code for of course) and I’m a lucky dad, (which is code for I love you). Truth is, I am the fortunate one. I get to have a shining example of how and who to love, to earn and give respect, to laugh and find joy in the little things and to always aim for consistency, generosity and integrity. 80 years he has been living and breathing everything he has taught me and I am so grateful for every lesson. I am a lucky daughter...Happy Birthday, Daddy.
